WHAT WE DO...

Over the years GA-APPNA has been involved with a lot of projects to help the community, it has been a part of celebrating National Health Care Day which is held nationwide usually in the month of October by all the APPNA chapters since 2008, GA APPNA takes part in it with much fervor and arranges Health Fare In which it does free health screening, mammograms / EKG’s and free lab work.

In 2011 during the initiative by APPNA to open free health clinics, one of our members Dr. Gulshan Harjee founded Clarkston Community Health Center along with Mr. Saeed Raees. Now CCHC has expanded to great lengths and provides free medical, dental, and mental health care to the underprivileged.

GA APPNA supports the CCHC Pharmacy and allocates annual funds to it.
