M Khurram Khan MD, PhD, MS, FACRO, FACR, DABR
President
Board certified in radiobiology/physics by the American Board of Radiology, Mohammad Khan, MD, PhD, MS, FACRO, FACR, DABR, specializes in the treatment of lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, skin (melanoma, squamous cell, basal cell, merkel cell), and pediatric cancers. Dr. Khan serves as vice chair for education in the Department of Radiation Oncology where he works to complement and extend the department's educational efforts beyond its residency programs.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Khan received two BS degrees, one in Nuclear Engineering and one in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Both degrees were awarded with Summa Cum Laude distinction. He then completed his MS, and PhD degrees in Nuclear Engineering with emphasis on health and medical physics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His graduate research focused on the use of innovative imaging technologies, such as PET and MRI, to improve radiation treatment planning for emerging cancer therapeutics such as boron neutron capture therapy for patients with malignant brain tumors.
Dr. Khan did his residency training in radiation oncology at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH. He completed a fellowship in ABS Prostate Bracytherapy at the Seattle Prostate Institute and an internship in medicine and surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Khan is a sought-after subject matter expert on low-dose radiotherapy and other radiation oncology topics. He has appeared on a number of media outlets, including CNN, Forbes, and WebMD.
Sana Muneer MD
General Secretary
Dr. Sana Muneer is a dedicated primary care physician providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She earned her medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University (formerly Sindh Medical College) in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed her residency at Atlanta Medical Center.
She is currently practicing at Cherokee Health Park, a Wellstar facility, where she is committed to delivering patient-centered, high-quality healthcare.
Throughout her career, Dr. Muneer has demonstrated a strong dedication to clinical excellence and research. She was honored with the Andrew Stewart Memorial Residency Research Award. With a passion for preventative care and improving patient outcomes, Dr. Muneer continues to make a meaningful impact in her field, ensuring the well-being of her community through her clinical expertise and compassionate approach to medicine.


Sohail Ejaz MD
Treasurer
Dr. Sohail Ejaz, received his medical degree from King Edward medical University. He completed his residency at Overlook Hospital/Columbia University school of medicine.
Dr Ejaz worked as an assistant Professor of internal medicine at Eastern Virginia medical school. Norfolk Virginia. He received several teaching awards during his career at Eastern Virginia medical school.
Dr Ejaz completed his Nephrology fellowship at East Carolina University school of medicine. Greenville North Carolina.
Dr Ejaz served as Assistant Professor of Internal medicine/Nephrology at East Carolina University, Department of nephrology. He was involved in teaching fellows and several research activities.
He moved to Georgia and joined Kidney Care Center of Georgia, He practices Nephrology, with offices in Gainesville, Cumming, Johns creek and Braselton area. He is managing partner and member of the executive committee at Kidney care Center of Georgia for the last several years.
Dr. Ejaz is also adjunct clinical faculty for internal medicine residency program at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
His areas of special interest include hypertension, diabetic kidney disease and dialysis management.
He enjoys sports, reading and travel .
