It is my honor and privilege to be elected as the President of GA APPNA for the year 2012. We had an immensely successful year 2011. Our focus this year is to keep the momentum going and aim higher. Our mission cannot be fulfilled without the support of our members and the zealous efforts of our Executive Committee.
With the changing tide of Health Care, we need to unite as a community, learn new ways to change our practices and plan for the future ahead of us. APPNA can help you. It provides a platform to you to unite and be heard. It can also act as a liaison between you and other professional organizations; for example the Medical Association of GA. In the past few years, APPNA has grown much more beyond a social networking organization. It has divulged into providing compassionate care in times of need, helped local communities, raised funds for innumerable charitable organizations, lobbied for Pakistani graduates in obtaining training positions in U.S., provided a platform for scientific study and research, ...and it is all because of you.
"APPNA" mean "my own". It is YOUR organization.
Ask not what APPNA can do for you but what you can do for APPNA...
Best Regards,
Sarah Hayat
President GA APPNA 2012
